Week 4 Blog 1

Yesterday we created a mini game and it was really hard at first until u got the hang of it. It started getting a little easier to do. The biggest part of the game was following directions as long as you did that you could get the hang of it and things started moving along a lot yesterday. So the way i see it as we move along directions will be the key to getting everything else done.

We’ve been working on creating games and it makes me pretty excited that we get to make our own game but I’m kind of worried cause it’s a little hard to get the objects moving you have to be really good at following directions or you won’t be able to do it without lots and lots of struggle and you have to constantly work and it’s hard to cause you get tired of doing the same thing everyday all the time but it shouldn’t be to hard if you work real hard to get it done quick and then you should have a little bit of extra time.

So far we have done alot on the computer. The only thing i have wrote down is my daily word of the day. I think this class is very interesting but it can be very overwhelming as well. This class is completely on the computer. This week has been my make up week. I have done a bunch of work at home.

Week 2 Blog 2

Today I played a game that didnt impress me that much. Honestly I think a kindergartner could do better. The game third world farmer had great graphics but terrible gameplay. Its genre was strategy and it definitely took strategy. It was too hard and didnt have enough direction as to how to get more into the game.  Maybe it would be more fun if it had more direction so people would know how to advance in tha game a little easier.

Week 2 Blog 1

I played drift runners. It was fun and had a good competition and I never expected to have fun on a game of such low standards. I can learn that if you don't disipline your self to not use the gas on the turns you go faster. If you use the gas you take the turns incredibly slow, and the people will pass you. The genre of the game is racing. It is pretty fun.

Globoloria is a very interesting class. I think this class could have the potential to keep my attention. Usually classes do not keep my attention but where this class has alot to do with computers. I like computers and the stuff we do on them. Doing stuff with codes and posting blogs are fun to do. Its a good way to express your mind everyday. It is way better than journals because I hate waiting.

Week 1 Blog 1

I have improved my reading skills. I have improved my reading skills more this year than ever. I have noticed that I read more fluent. I also read with more comprehension than I have had in the past. It wouldn't be unusual if I had to read something two or three times before to understand it. I hope my reading skills improve more within the next year because college will be way more reading than I have had to do in the past. Mr. Eldridge is helping me comprehend this globoloria stuff more than I think I would in another classroom environment.

This year I want to learn how to generate codes to produce my own successful wiki. Mr. Eldridge will make this class fun. I hope that I can understand how Globoloria works, as well as be able to help other students when they are having trouble. I want this class to be successful and drama free. HELP ME HELP YOU!
